Fujimi Inari Taisha, Kyoto
- It is an important and famous Shinto Shrine with thousands of vermilion torii gates on a network of trails around the main buildings.

Kenroku-en, Ishikawa
- Considered one of the most beautiful landscapes in Japan, was first opened to the public in 1871. For almost 2 centuries before that, it was the outer garden of the Kanazawa Castle.

Kiyomizu-dera, Kyoto
- Its name means Pure Water Temple because of the Otowa Waterfall located just east of Kyoto, and it was founded in 780. It is a UNESCO Heritage Site since 1994.
