MY CHOICE - CURIOSITIES

I wanted to talk a little bit about some of the things I found very curious during my researches.

• Japan has the most vending machines in the world, they can be found literally everywhere! They also sell everything, from hot soups to cold drinks, coffees, food, candies, there are even restaurants that have vending machines where people can order.
• There are 6,852 islands in total.
• Cleaning is part of their education in many schools, over there they make their students clean toilets, classrooms and school area it teaches the kids and the school saves money on cleaners.
• Japan suffers over 1,500 earthquakes a year, luckily most of them are small shakes.
• Slurping up noodles is considered polite, who knew?
• If you have tattoos it is prohibited to bathe in hot springs and onsen because it is considered ugly and it is often associated with gangs and crime.
• They eat more than 17 million ton fish per year!!!
• Japanese cultivates square melons because it is easier to store.
